February 9, 2017- Cancer Awareness and Support Program at Kaliagaon, Chirang District-
As part of its continued mission to promote health awareness and provide relief to underserved communities, Priyobondhu Social Welfare Society organized a Cancer Awareness and Distribution Program at Kaliagaon, under the jurisdiction of Bollamguri PHC in Chirang District.
The initiative aimed to sensitize the local population about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of timely medical intervention. Alongside the awareness campaign, essential winter relief was also provided to families in need. Warm blankets were distributed to 22 families, offering them comfort and protection against the seasonal chill.
Through this integrated approach of healthcare education and material support, the program sought to uplift and safeguard the wellbeing of vulnerable households, reaffirming Priyobondhu’s commitment to compassion-driven social service.
