When Humanity Leads the Way ..
In these extraordinary times, the pandemic has blurred all lines, rich or poor, urban or rural. Livelihoods are suspended, and for many, even securing a single meal a day has become a daunting task. Amidst this uncertainty, what continues to inspire hope is the overwhelming spirit of generosity shown by compassionate individuals stepping forward to help those in need.
On April 11, 2020, Priyobondhu reached out to 75 families in the Gopal Nagar area, Noonmati, with essential food supplies to support them during the lockdown.
This distribution drive was made possible through the unwavering support of the Smart Protection Unit, Assam Police, whose presence ensured both safety and efficiency. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Director General of Police, Assam, Shri I.H. Bora, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Shri Bishon Sonar, and all the benevolent souls who contributed to this relief effort.
In times of crisis, it’s empathy and solidarity that truly sustain us. Together, we are making sure that no one is left behind.
