Carrying Hope to the Hilltops ..
As the pandemic continued to threaten lives and livelihoods, Priyobondhu remained steadfast in its commitment to support the most vulnerable communities. On April 9, 2020, the organization extended its relief outreach to 61 vulnerable families residing at Man Sing Sing Nagar, Noonmati ( Hilltop ).
Each family was provided with a carefully curated survival kit designed to help them cope during the lockdown period. The relief package included-
10 kg Rice, 2 kg Masur Dal, 1 litre Mustard Oil, 2 kg Potato, Salt, Soap, Sanitary Napkins for Women
Priyobondhu expresses deep gratitude to the Smart Protection Unit, Assam Police, for their continued cooperation and on-ground support. Special appreciation is extended to Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, IPS, Director General of Police, Assam, for his steadfast encouragement, as well as to all generous contributors whose support made this humanitarian effort possible.
Together, we did more than distribute essentials, we delivered dignity, hope, and humanity to families in need.
