COVID-19 Crisis Response- Mathgharia, Guwahati

August 1, 2020- Continuing its humanitarian outreach during the COVID-19 pandemic, Team Priyobondhu distributed essential food items to 70 vulnerable families in Mathgharia, Guwahati.

The relief initiative was carried out in collaboration with DPS, with the objective of supporting families whose livelihoods were adversely affected by the lockdown. Carefully prepared food kits were provided to help ensure short-term food security for the beneficiary households.

The distribution was conducted while strictly adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols, prioritizing the health and safety of both volunteers and community members.

Through this effort, Priyobondhu reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to stand beside communities in distress and to mitigate hunger during the ongoing crisis.
