On August 12, 2018, Priyobondhu conducted a flood relief operation in two severely affected villages of Golaghat District, Assam, extending humanitarian support to families impacted by flooding.

Relief assistance was provided to:

  1. Bauri Gaon, Numaligarh – 153 families

  2. Arengapar, Golaghat – 104 families

A range of essential relief materials were distributed to help families meet their immediate needs and safeguard health and hygiene. The items included buckets, blankets, mosquito nets and repellents, mattresses and pillows, disinfectants, soaps and sanitizers, sanitary napkins, milk and sugar, rice and pulses, ORS, and mineral water, among others.

The initiative aimed to provide timely relief, ensure basic hygiene, and reduce health risks among flood-affected communities. Through this intervention, Priyobondhu reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during emergencies and natural disasters.
