August 21, 2016- Cancer Awareness and Screening Program at Balitara High School, Nalbari
Priyobondhu, in collaboration with the National Health Mission, Assam, organized a Health Awareness and Cancer Screening Program at Balitara High School, Nalbari.
The objective of the initiative was to educate the local population on early detection and prevention of cancer, with a particular focus on breast, cervical, and oral cancers.
A total of 69 individuals underwent screening for cancer risk indicators, and health professionals provided consultations, guidance, and referrals where necessary.
This effort was part of Priyobondhu’s commitment to community health outreach and ensuring access to preventive healthcare services for underserved and rural populations.
