'Stepping Out of the Kitchen'- Cake Baking Competition for Women

On February 25, 2018, Priyobondhu, with the support of Panasonic Cooking, organized an authentic cake baking competition at Chandmari, Guwahati, under the empowering theme 'Stepping Out of the Kitchen', celebrating women who live with pride, dignity, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The initiative was designed to promote gainful self-employment opportunities for women by encouraging them to transform their culinary skills into sustainable livelihood options. Emphasis was placed on healthy and natural baking practices, with strict guidelines prohibiting the use of artificial edible colours, ready-made gum paste, sugar paste, whipped cream, and synthetic decorative items.
