July 18, 2020- COVID-19 Crisis Response - Relief Distribution at Noonmati Sector 3
In response to the economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, food and essential relief materials were distributed to 40 vulnerable families in the Sector 3 area of Noonmati. The beneficiaries included auto rickshaw drivers, rickshaw pullers, and ASHA workers, whose livelihoods were significantly impacted by the lockdown restrictions.
Each relief package included rice, lentils (dal), bathing soap, and sanitary napkins for women covering both basic nutrition and hygiene needs.
This initiative aimed to provide timely support to frontline and informal sector workers who played a vital role in the community yet faced severe challenges during the crisis. The effort reflects our ongoing commitment to serving the most affected and ensuring no one is left behind during times of crisis.
