On July 23, 2018, Priyobondhu organized a seminar titled “Menstruation Management and Understanding Contemporary Contexts” at the Khanapara State Dispensary, Guwahati. The seminar aimed to gain a clearer understanding of the ground realities and challenges in implementing the Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Scheme in rural areas.

The session provided an interactive platform for frontline healthcare workers to share experiences, identify gaps, and discuss practical solutions related to menstrual health awareness and service delivery in rural communities.

A total of 19 participants attended the seminar, comprising:

5 Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs)

12 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs)

1 Lady Health Supervisor (LHS)

1 NGO Worker

The seminar strengthened collaboration between healthcare providers and community organizations, contributing to improved understanding and more effective implementation of menstrual hygiene management initiatives at the grassroots level.
