July 30, 2020- COVID-19 Crisis Response - Relief Distribution at Basisthapur Bylane 3, Beltola.
In continued efforts to support vulnerable communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, food and essential relief items were distributed to 130 families of housemaids and sweepers residing in Basisthapur Bylane 3, Beltola. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Delhi Public School (DPS), Guwahati, whose support was instrumental in reaching these underserved groups.
Each family received a package comprising dry ration and basic essentials, including sanitary napkins for women, to address both nutritional and hygiene needs during the lockdown.
This effort aimed to provide much-needed relief to daily wage earners and informal workers who were among the most affected by the economic impact of the pandemic. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to community welfare, dignity, and inclusive support during times of crisis.
