On June 9, 2018, Priyobondhu established a Children’s Library at Kailashpur L.P. School, located at Narakasur Pahar, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam, with the objective of promoting reading habits and strengthening the learning environment for young students.
As part of the initiative, a children’s library bookshelf along with 100 children’s books was generously donated by Mrs. Durba Ghosh, PTI journalist. The library was formally inaugurated by Smt. Hiranmoyee Devi, a noted social activist, in the presence of students, teachers, and community members.
The establishment of the library marked an important step toward encouraging early literacy, imagination, and curiosity among children, providing them with access to age-appropriate reading materials and a dedicated space for learning beyond the classroom.
