On March 8, 2016, with the support of the FICCI Ladies Organization and IIE, sewing machines were gifted to three deserving women: Himani Baishya from Guwahati, and Jaya Tanti and Marami Murmu from Nagaon. This effort was undertaken to empower them with a means of livelihood, helping them move toward financial independence and dignity.
