On the occasion of Women’s Day, an awareness program on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) was conducted at the Fancy Bazar Gate-4 slum area on March 8, 2019. The program aimed to educate the community about menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the importance of maintaining personal well-being during menstruation.
During the event, sanitary pads and essential toiletries were distributed to 49 girls and women, ensuring they had access to basic hygiene resources. The initiative focused on addressing critical health needs while empowering women and girls to manage their menstrual health with dignity, confidence, and awareness.
