On October 22, 2016, Priyobondhu carried out a post-flood relief operation in Chirang district, covering two relief camps- Hatisar, Dadgiri and Aaipowali. The initiative aimed to provide essential relief materials to flood-affected families and support their immediate recovery needs.

The relief efforts reached Hatisar, Dadgiri, benefiting 167 families comprising 835 members, and Aaipowali, supporting 47 families with a total of 252 members. A wide range of essential food items, nutrition supplies, hygiene products, and basic household materials were distributed to address the needs of children, women, and families affected by the floods.

Items distributed included infant and child nutrition products such as Cerelac (Stage 1, 3, and 4 varieties) and Lactogen 2, along with fruits and packaged food items like biscuits, noodles, oats, and snacks. Hygiene and sanitation materials such as sanitary napkins, soaps, mosquito coils, and detergents were provided, with special attention given to women’s hygiene needs. Educational supplies including notebooks, pencils, scales, and pencil boxes were distributed for children, while essential household items such as bed covers and undergarments for women were also provided.

This post-flood relief initiative played a crucial role in supporting vulnerable communities during a time of crisis, helping restore dignity, health, and a sense of stability among the affected families.
