' This is the home of distinguished journalist and thoughtful writer Barnali Barua and her husband, Mahendra Barua. The sight of their home, devastated by the floods, brought tears to my eyes. The floodwaters had left them with almost nothing they could save.
Today, I am grateful to share that their home has been partially restored under the #PriyobondhuRestorationProject . Through the dedicated efforts of Priyobondhu, volunteers, and generous supporters, essential restoration work has been carried out to help the family begin rebuilding their lives. While the recovery journey is still ongoing, this marks an important step toward restoring safety, dignity, and hope after the disaster.' - Archi Barthakur
