On August 1, 2021, Priyobondhu undertook a focused relief initiative to support families grappling with the devastating economic fallout of the COVID-19 lockdown.
Dry ration kits and basic essentials were distributed to the guardians of 20 children whose families had lost their means of livelihood during the pandemic. These children, already living under difficult circumstances, were at heightened risk due to the financial instability caused by the prolonged restrictions.
This intervention was aimed at ensuring food security, restoring a sense of hope, and reaffirming our commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of children and their caregivers during times of crisis.
