The ongoing pandemic has cast a devastating shadow over countless lives, and among the hardest hit are those from the vibrant film fraternity of Assam. It is truly heartbreaking to witness the uncertainty and helplessness faced by professionals who once brought stories to life filmmakers, actors, technicians, musicians now struggling for basic survival.
In a compassionate effort to support them through this time of crisis, we extended our helping hand today at Jyoti Chitraban, Kahilipara, by distributing dry ration kits and essential supplies to 45 families.
Each beneficiary received a comprehensive relief package including>
Rice (25 kg), Dal (6 kg), Sugar (3 kg), Mustard Oil (1 L), Potatoes (5 kg), Onions (5 kg), Soyabean (1 kg), Dried Peas (2 kg), Tea (250 g), Wheat (3 kg), Amulspray (500 g), Biscuits (2 packets), Bathing Soap (2 pcs), and Sanitary Napkins (2 packets).
While this may not erase their hardships, we hope it brings them comfort, sustenance, and the reassurance that they are not alone. Our mission continues because every voice, every artist, and every family deserves dignity, support, and care.
