The current state of food security and livelihood is deeply alarming and demands urgent attention. From our position on the ground, we bear witness to the growing despair among daily wage workers, street vendors, drivers, and small business owners, whose means of survival have been gravely impacted by the ongoing crisis.
The reality is heartbreaking. Families who once lived with dignity now struggle to secure even a single meal. Hunger is no longer distant it could be at your doorstep. In these challenging times, we earnestly appeal to everyone to extend a helping hand to those silently suffering around us.
This is not just an economic downturn, it is a humanitarian emergency one that disproportionately affects those dependent on daily wages. As livelihoods vanish, a severe food crisis is unfolding, bringing with it anxiety, uncertainty, and deep distress.
At Priyobondhu, we are committed to combating hunger on the ground. Throughout the lockdown and beyond, our team has been actively distributing groceries and essential supplies to pandemic-affected families, ensuring no one is left behind in their hour of need.
As of now, we have reached and supported over 1,905 families and we continue, with resolve and compassion, to expand our efforts. Every contribution, every act of kindness, brings us closer to a community where no one sleeps hungry.
