The current reality on the ground is deeply unsettling. The food security and livelihood situation has become critically fragile, demanding urgent and sustained attention. As we move through communities, we witness firsthand the desperation of daily wage laborers, street vendors, drivers, and small business owners all struggling to survive amidst the collapse of their means of income.
The pandemic and its lockdowns have not just caused economic disruption; they’ve pushed thousands to the edge of hunger. For many, even a single meal has become uncertain. The pain is often silent it may exist in the home next to yours.
We appeal to everyone to extend your hand where you can. Hunger has no boundaries, and now is the time to show humanity at its strongest.
Priyobondhu is on the frontlines actively responding by distributing dry rations, groceries, and essential supplies to those hardest hit by the lockdown. Our mission is simple- fight hunger, restore hope.
To date, we have reached and supported over 1,905 families, and we continue to stand by those in need- one home, one life, one act of kindness at a time.
